“Single Vineyard”

Coliseo

Amontillado.

As sharp

as a sword.

Variety: 100% Palomino Fino.
Alc. Vol.: 22º
Average age: over 30 years.

This very old Amontillado was refreshed with a rare old Manzanilla, originally coming from Manuel de Argüeso winery, which used to belong to Valdespino. Currently, its youngest criadera is refreshed with and old Manzanilla Amontillada from the emblematic Misericordia Bodega in Barrio Alto de Sanlúcar de Barrameda. The origin of this genuine solera dates back to the late 19th century.

Cardenal

Palo Cortado.

Single Vineyard.

An eminence since the 19th century.

Variety: 100% Palomino Fino.
Alc. Vol.: 22º
Average age: over 50 years.

Cardenal earned its name from a series of exports to the notorious Cardinal de Salis – a keen enthusiast of this Sherry – in late 19th century Ireland.

The soleras of the oldest Valdespino wines were established at the end of the 19th century. In fact, Cardenal was the second brand registered by Valdespino, on January 8, 1894. The solera of this wine has four criaderas, the youngest is refreshed with a selection from the solera of the magnificent Palo Cortado Viejo C.P.

Cardenal is an extremely intense, deep and complex wine with a unique personality and international renown.

Solera de

su Majestad

Oloroso.

The essence

of an oloroso.

Variety: 100% Palomino Fino.
Alc. Vol.: 22º
Average age: over 30 years.

This Oloroso is the very essence of Pago Carrascal since it is topped up with a selection from the Solera of VOS Don Gonzalo. The origin of the wine dates back to the late 19th century when the Valdespinos set aside a limited selection of casks in a Solera originally reserved for the consumption of the Royal family. A superb, complex and rare fine Oloroso.

Niños

Pedro Ximénez.

A tribute to sweetness.

Variety: 100% Pedro Ximénez.
Alc. Vol.: 22º
Average age: over 30 years.

The concentration of this extraordinarily old Pedro Ximenez results in an extremely dense wine with unique complexity. It is almost chewable and its never-ending aftertaste is full of exotic nuances. A Solera stablished in the late 19th Century which is today refreshed with a selection of casks from the Solera of Pedro Ximénez El Candado. This is a one-of-a-kind allocation wine.
