This wine is made from Palomino Fino grapes from the exceptional Pago Macharnudo Alto (Viña Valdespino), the Grand Cru of Jerez and one of the best in the world. The grapes are carefully selected and harvested in their prime.
This white wine ferments in 600-litre American oak sherry casks and ages on its lees for approximately six months. It embodies the essence of this legendary Estate.
Valdespino Viña Macharnudo Alto Barrel Fermented 2022, is a unique white wine made of Palomino grape from Pago Macharnudo Alto, the “Grand Cru” in Jerez de la Frontera, grown in Albariza soil. It is harvested manually and the grapes are selected and picked at their optimum point of maturity. After fermenting in Valdespino sherry casks, the wine subsequently ages on its lees for 4 months.
It shows the character of Macharnudo terroir at its best.

Viña Los Arcos, located in the Pago de Macharnudo Bajo, has been certified as an organic vineyard since 2018. The Palomino grapes used to make this unique white wine come exclusively from this vineyard. The harvest is done manually, and the grapes are carefully selected and picked at their optimal ripeness. After fermenting in American oak barrels, the wine ages on its lees for 4 months. The result is a very fresh combination of the Palomino varietal with the classic minerality of the unique and singular terroir of Macharnudo.
Viña Los Arcos Barrel Fermented 2022, certified as an organic vineyard in 2018, is a unique white wine made from Palomino organic grapes from Pago Macharnudo Bajo, grown in Albariza soil. It is harvested manually and the grapes are selected and picked at their optimum point of maturity. After fermenting in selected Valdespino sherry casks, the wine subsequently ages on its lees for 4 months.
It combines a very fresh version of the Palomino varietal with the classic minerality of Macharnudo terroir.
