Manzanilla.

Pure

intensity.

Variety: 100% Palomino Fino.
Alc. Vol.: 15º
Average age: 6 years.

This Manzanilla embodies the soft coolness of the Atlantic Ocean and the Guadalquivir River. The grapes used come mainly from Pago de Miraflores, one of the most emblematic coastal vineyards in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Its only annual ‘saca’ (batch) comes from selected casks from the solera of the emblematic Bodega de Misericordia, located in the upper district of Sanlúcar de Barrameda. This is carried out in the spring, when the ‘Flor’ is more active than in other seasons.

Contrabandista

Medium Dry

Amontillado Blend.

‘Smuggler’ by name,

it is highly valued

in all markets.

Variety: Amontillado and Pedro Ximénez.
Alc. Vol.: 18º
Average age: 15 years.

The base of this Sherry is a selected Amontillado, which undergoes biological and later oxidative ageing. The final result is obtained through a blend (“cabeceo”) with a touch of rich Pedro Ximenez, obtaining a remarkable wine, pleasant on the palate, silky and with great personality.

Moscatel

Promesa.

Promises are made to be kept.

Variety: Moscatel de Alejandría.
Alc. Vol.: 17º
Average age: 4 years.

Promesa is a fully balanced sweet wine made from 100% Moscatel grapes, grown in the sandy soils of the Atlantic coast. It is the result of over-ripening grapes and a partial fermentation followed by its subsequent ageing in American oak casks through the traditional system of solera and criaderas.

PX El Candado.

‘The Lock’ by name, you’ll want to keep this wine under lock and key.

Variety: 100% Pedro Ximénez.
Alc. Vol.: 17º
Average age: 5 years.

Originally, El Candado comes from two selected casks which were traditionally kept under lock and key as a family reserve before establishing its century-old solera. This is where it gets its unique name ‘El Candado’ (The padlock’ in English). It is a unique sweet wine obtained from Pedro Ximénez grapes exposed to the traditional ‘soleo’; a sun-drying process which turns the grapes into raisins. After pressing and partial fermentation, it undergoes long and careful ageing in oak casks, which guarantees the highest quality and finesse.
